I am traveling by myself and don't want to have to pay the single supplement – what are my options?
We will allow people to sign up with roommates. As you
book the trip we can let you know if there is someone else interested in
sharing a room. Also, we will have a chat room set up through the
website where you can talk to others and pair up if you'd like! We just
need an e-mail from you to let us know who you would like to share a
room with.

I want to fly in earlier and have some free time prior to the trip - how will I meet the group?

LOTR Fan Trips
I have friends in Toronto - can I just stay with them and join the group for the activities?
The tour is priced as a group package and therefore
the price of the accommodations can not be taken out of the overall
package price. So, if you choose to stay with a friend we
unfortunately can not change the pricing.
LOTR Fan Trips
Can I attend only part of the tour?
No changes in prices can be made if you only attend
part of the tour, so it really is not cost effective to miss any
portion of the tour.

Is this trip accessible to people with physical disabilities and those using a wheelchair?

When will I get my final documents for the trip?
We will put together a package for each participant/family that will include all of the necessary travel documents (finalized itinerary with meeting point, maps, etc.) and mail it around 30 days prior to departure.

Should I tip the guides at the end of the tour?
Yes!! If you feel that the guides did a great job
then please reward them. Guides work hard to ensure your safety and
enjoyment on the trip. Tips can range from $1-5 a day – it really
depends on how much you feel the guide deserves.

How much spending money should I bring?
There are some meals included as noted on each itinerary, so you will want to look those over and evaluate how much you will need for additional food/snacks. You will also want to think about how many souvenirs or other items you may want to purchase while on the trip.
Think about things you may want to do in your free time (shopping, opera/theater, museums not on the itinerary, etc.).

How much money should I convert before arrival to the
Canada?
While traveling out of the country, it is best not to carry too much cash. You will want to have some money readily available upon arrival for snacks or other small things, so exchange a few dollars at the airport for
Canadian Dollars. During the trip you may want to purchase larger items with a credit card or travelers checks. Most major credit cards are accepted everywhere. If you do not frequently travel, we highly recommended that you call your credit card provider prior to departure and advise them that you will be in the
Canada. Some card companies may automatically reject non-US charges if they do not fit normal spending patterns.
